MEDICAL CAMP BANGLADESH
Medical Camp Bangladesh
On Dec 20, 2024, Ongshi Austin, SpaandanB Austin, Rotary Club of Dhaka, Rotary Club of Mymensingh, and Bangladesh Eye Trust Foundation, have organized a medical camp and an eye camp in a rural area in Mymensingh, Bangladesh, to serve villagers from 12 villages. Response was simply overwhelming! Nine doctors and eye specialists from Dhaka and Mymensingh, along with technicians and supporting staff were able to treat more than 1300 patients. Medicines, treatments and eyeglasses were distributed to villagers for free. 156 eye patients were identified who would need cataract surgery and will be sent to Dhaka, Bangladesh for cataract surgery (free to the patient).
Partner Organization:
Rotary Club of Dhaka, was chartered in February 26th, 1938. The club organizes a winter clothes drive every winter and distributes them in the worst affected areas like Rangpur.
